1. In Plain Language (Summary)
This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you use Hurricane Ready Roofs (the “Service”), what we use it for, and when we share it. In brief:
- We collect information you submit, including account and contact details, property and roofing-project information, and documents you choose to upload.
- We use this information to provide platform features, connect property owners with participating contractors, maintain project records, communicate with you, and operate and improve the Service.
- We share relevant project information with contractors you contact through the Service and with providers that help operate the platform.
- We do not offer your personal information for sale to data brokers.
- You can contact us with questions or requests concerning your information.
This summary is for convenience. The full Policy controls.
2. Who We Are
“We,” “us,” and “our” mean Experimental LLC, the operator of Hurricane Ready Roofs. Contact information appears in Section 13.
3. What Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account information: Information used to create and manage your account, such as your name, email address, and authentication details. Authentication may be handled by a third-party provider.
Property and project information: Addresses, property descriptions, roofing preferences, project timing, funding and insurance-related context you choose to share, and other information requested during the homeowner interview.
Contractor information: Business identities, service areas, contact details, registration information, and information submitted for participation in the platform.
Project records: Contractor contacts and engagements, milestones, reported transactions and payments, installation details, photographs, warranties, inspection records, maintenance information, and documents that users upload.
Communications: Messages submitted through contact forms or other communications with us.
Payment information: The platform does not collect or hold payments homeowners make to roofing contractors. It may retain reports of payment events and commission-related records for administration of the Service. Any separate payments owed to Experimental LLC are handled under the applicable arrangement.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
Technical information: Information such as device and browser characteristics, IP address, activity logs, pages visited, and diagnostic information needed for security and operation.
Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand platform usage, subject to the tools and settings actually in use. [Confirm analytics provider, events collected, and consent practices before launch.]
Cookies: See Section 8.
3.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from authentication services, mapping or measurement providers, and participating contractors when needed to provide the features you use. [Confirm actual integrations and data flows before launch.]
4. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Register users and maintain secure accounts.
- Support introductory roofing education and property-level project planning.
- Facilitate homeowner contact with participating contractors.
- Provide project tracking, document storage, roof history, and ongoing support features.
- Administer contractor participation, reported milestones, and commissions.
- Send essential service communications and answer inquiries.
- Protect the Service against misuse and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Analyze and improve performance, where appropriate and permitted.
- Fulfill legal obligations and enforce platform terms.
5. Who We Share Your Information With
5.1 Service Providers
We work with technology providers for hosting, authentication, data storage, email delivery, maps, and other services needed to operate Hurricane Ready Roofs. Providers may process information to perform their functions for us. [Confirm the current provider list and describe any AI processing before launch.]
5.2 Participating Roofing Contractors
When you choose to contact a contractor through the Service, we may share relevant contact, property, and project details with that contractor so it can respond to your inquiry. Participating contractors are independent third parties and may have their own privacy practices. We do not automatically give every registered contractor access to all your project records.
5.3 Legal Compliance
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, enforce rights, or protect users and the Service.
5.4 Business Transfers
Information may be transferred in connection with a reorganization, acquisition, merger, or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.
5.5 What We Do Not Do
We do not sell personal information to data brokers. We do not make private project documents publicly available merely because they are stored in the Service. [Confirm any legally defined “sale” or “sharing” implications of analytics before launch.]
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain information for the time reasonably required to operate the Service, maintain the roof record and project history you request, comply with applicable obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate business interests. Because a principal feature of Hurricane Ready Roofs is a long-term roof record, some project records may remain associated with your account for an extended period. Specific retention and deletion schedules must be confirmed before launch. [Legal/technical review required.]
7. Your Rights Over Your Information
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, as well as to object to or restrict particular processing. Some requests are subject to lawful exceptions, including recordkeeping and contractual obligations.
Contact us using Section 13. We will address requests as required by applicable law. [Confirm any state-specific notices and response timelines before launch.]
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Service may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and functionality, and may use analytics technologies to understand usage. [Confirm actual cookie categories, consent mechanism, and user controls before launch.] Browser settings may allow you to limit certain cookies, although doing so can affect functionality.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls and security measures appropriate to the platform. No online service is entirely secure. We will address security incidents and notify affected parties when required by applicable law. [Verify actual controls and service-provider arrangements before launch.]
10. Children's Privacy
Hurricane Ready Roofs is intended for adults arranging or managing roofing projects. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
11. International Users
Hurricane Ready Roofs is operated in the United States and primarily directed toward properties and contractors in its supported U.S. service areas. Information may be processed in the United States. Users outside the United States should be aware that privacy laws may differ from those in their location.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. We will update the effective or revision date and provide additional notice when required by law. [Confirm notification method and advance-notice commitment before launch.]

Terms of Service
Hurricane Ready Roofs Operated by Experimental LLC Status: Preliminary placeholder for legal review before launch Effective Date: [To be established] Last Updated: [To be established]
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hurricane Ready Roofs (the “Service”), operated by Experimental LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act on its behalf. Participating contractors may also be subject to separate contractor terms, which control their specific obligations when applicable.
2. About Us
Hurricane Ready Roofs is operated by Experimental LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Contact details appear in Section 18.
3. What the Service Is
Hurricane Ready Roofs is an online platform intended to help property owners understand roofing options, identify participating contractors in their region, organize installation projects, and preserve roof records for future reference. Features may include educational content, approximate roof-area measurements, preliminary roofing-system comparisons, contractor introductions, milestones, document storage, warranties, and maintenance or service records.
Independent contractors: Roofing contractors are separate businesses. Hurricane Ready Roofs is not the roofing contractor, seller of roofing materials, project manager, insurer, engineer, or contracting party to a homeowner’s roofing agreement. Homeowners select contractors and agree on scope, price, payments, and work outside the platform.
No project-payment custody: Hurricane Ready Roofs does not collect or hold payments from homeowners to roofing contractors and does not provide an escrow service.
Language and availability: Features and supported locations may vary. The Service may change over time.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have the capacity to enter binding agreements, provide information you are entitled to share, and comply with applicable laws. Contractors must complete any applicable registration or participation requirements before using contractor-specific features.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring under it. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, or violations of these Terms.
6. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
6.1 Pricing
Any fees charged by Hurricane Ready Roofs will be disclosed in the applicable offer or agreement. Contractors may be subject to separate participation terms and commission obligations. Those obligations are governed by the applicable contractor terms and any specific signed agreement.
6.2 Payment Processing
Homeowner payments for roofing work occur directly between the homeowner and the selected contractor outside Hurricane Ready Roofs. The Service may request confirmation of certain project-payment events for project administration and commission enforcement. We do not hold or transmit roofing-project payments on behalf of either party.
6.3 Discount Codes and Promotions
Any discounts or promotions for platform fees, if introduced, will be subject to the terms communicated with the offer. This section does not imply that a paid homeowner service is currently offered.
6.4 Refund Policy
Refund eligibility for any fee paid directly to Experimental LLC will be determined by the terms applicable to that charge and applicable law. Refunds of roofing deposits or contract payments are matters between homeowners and their roofing contractors, not Hurricane Ready Roofs.
7. What This Service Is Not (Important Disclaimer)
The Service offers general information and organizational tools, not a professional roof inspection, engineering analysis, legal opinion, insurance determination, firm quotation, or construction warranty.
Roof-area estimates, comparative cost information, descriptions of materials, and other preliminary information can be incomplete, approximate, or outdated. The contractor must verify project conditions, measurements, compliance, scope, pricing, and suitability.
Listing or presenting a contractor is not a guarantee or endorsement of its services, availability, licensing, insurance, workmanship, financial condition, or outcome. Any screening or registration process does not replace your independent due diligence. You decide which contractor to hire and on what terms.
We do not control construction activity or resolve contractual disagreements between homeowners and contractors. For decisions with meaningful financial, structural, insurance, or legal implications, consult suitably qualified professionals.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully; submit false, misleading, infringing, or harmful material; impersonate others; interfere with security or operations; attempt unauthorized access; scrape or misuse other users’ private data; or distribute malware. Users must upload only information and documents they have permission to provide. Participating contractors must follow applicable registration and contractor terms.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Content
The Service and its original software, text, graphics, layout, and related materials are owned by Experimental LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited right to use the Service for its intended purposes.
9.2 Your Content
You retain rights you have in the information, photos, and documents you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a nonexclusive license to host, process, display, and share Your Content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the Service and the features you request, including sharing relevant project information with contractors you select to contact. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit this content.
9.3 Project Records and Generated Information
Project summaries, preliminary measurements, milestones, and roof-history records are made available for your own project planning and reference. They may contain information entered by users or generated from third-party data and should be independently verified before they are relied upon for contracting, construction, or insurance decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EXPERIMENTAL LLC AND ITS AFFILIATED PERSONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. WE DO NOT ASSUME LIABILITY FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, WORK, OR CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS OF INDEPENDENT ROOFING CONTRACTORS.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. [Attorney to review and establish any monetary liability cap and exceptions; none inserted as a placeholder.] Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Experimental LLC against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without authorization. [Attorney to review scope, defense obligations, consumer limitations, and applicable exceptions.]
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on outside providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, maps, analytics, and email. Some functions may link to or depend on third-party services that have separate terms or policies. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond obligations imposed by applicable law. [Confirm provider descriptions before publication.]
13. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law or any binding agreement.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material Terms violations, security concerns, or legal reasons. Termination does not eliminate accrued obligations or rights that by their nature survive. Retention or deletion of project records is addressed in the Privacy Policy and subject to applicable requirements.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by Florida law, subject to mandatory laws that may apply to a user.
15.2 Venue
[Attorney to confirm appropriate court venue and applicability to consumers and contractors.]
15.3 Informal Resolution First
Before pursuing a formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us using the details below so we can attempt a practical resolution.
15.4 Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
[Attorney to determine whether arbitration, jury-trial waiver, and class-action waiver provisions should be adopted. The reference document contains these provisions, but they have not been carried over as binding placeholders without review.]
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. The revised version will indicate its effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain additional consent where required by law.
17. Miscellaneous
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other applicable agreements govern your use of the Service. Contractor-specific agreements remain effective for their subject matter and take precedence where expressly applicable.
17.2 Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
17.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive future enforcement.
17.4 Assignment
Assignment rights and restrictions are subject to applicable law and any separate written agreements.
17.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not generally create enforceable rights in third parties.
17.6 Headings
Headings are used for convenience and do not change the meaning of these Terms.

Hurricane Ready Roofs — Preliminary placeholder for legal review
Footer advisory
Hurricane Ready Roofs provides roofing information, introductions to independent contractors, and project-management and recordkeeping tools. It does not provide professional roofing, engineering, legal, insurance, or financial advice. Measurements and prices may be approximate. Verify important details with qualified professionals before making decisions.
Before we begin
What this is, and what it isn’t
Hurricane Ready Roofs helps you explore roof options, make contact with participating roofing contractors, follow important installation milestones, and keep information about your roof in one place.
A few things to know before we start:
We are a platform, not your roofing contractor.
Contractors are independent businesses. You choose whom to hire and agree on scope, pricing, schedules, and payments with that contractor directly. Being listed on the platform does not guarantee a contractor’s work or performance.
Estimates and information can be wrong.
Roof-area approximations, material descriptions, price ranges, and other preliminary information are for orientation only. Roof measurements, conditions, product selection, applicable codes, permits, and final prices must be verified by appropriate professionals.
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Information you provide may be used to deliver platform features and shared with contractors you elect to contact, as described in our Privacy Policy. Avoid uploading information you are not authorized to share.
Take your time.
You do not need to decide on a roofing system before speaking with a contractor. Compare proposals, verify credentials and insurance, ask questions, and read contracts carefully.
Acknowledgment text, if used within an onboarding flow: I understand that Hurricane Ready Roofs provides information and organizational tools, not professional roofing advice or a construction guarantee. I am responsible for independently evaluating contractors and project decisions. I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. [Do not activate this acknowledgment until approved.]
About these findings
Any roof-area estimate, project summary, or other information generated by the platform is based on available mapping data, user inputs, third-party information, or recorded project activity. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection, final contractor quotation, engineering review, or professional insurance assessment.
If you notice an error in a project record or other information presented by the Service, use the platform's contact form to report it.
